Bangladesh's first Test win over Pakistan:


 Bangladesh's epic 10-wicket win in Rawalpindi had shocked the world.

Pakistan's first innings score of 448 in Rawalpindi was their highest score ever in a game they lost. They had only lost once before when they batted first and scored more than 448. That was in 2014, when they made 451 in Galle and lost to Sri Lanka by seven wickets. That means that Pakistan has now lost two games after scoring more than 448 batting first. Previous instances of a team losing a test after a first-innings declaration having lost six or fewer wickets. One of those was under bizarre circumstances in 1976, when India lost five batters to injury against West Indies in Jamaica.

Bangladesh's victory over Pakistan in Rawalpindi was their first Test win after conceding a first-innings total of 400 or more. The previous highest total conceded in a match won by Bangladesh was 374, by Zimbabwe in Chattogram in 2014. Tests taken by Bangladesh to register their first win against Pakistan. Pakistan's longest stretch without a home win is 11 wins, between 1969 and 1975, but they lost only one of those 11 matches. second-longest home sequence without a win.
